autumn found me in a daze
jewel toned; escaped the craze
a morning in lonely ecstasy
roaming through a yellow fantasy
A few days ago I ventured up north to old town Pasadena and the quaint streets were such a refreshing scene. Unlike downtown, where I live, the streets were so peaceful to explore. All the shop were in old brick buildings, along with grassy trails, and old churches. I always feel some part of myself so connected to places like that. It's challenging because if I were to ever strictly live in a place like that, I'm not sure if the pace would drive me crazy. But, I like that I can grasp some moments of it and keep it with me afterwards.
Take a look below as I've also included some new pieces I've been loving as of late with Akira and Charles & Keith:
Hello from LA! I'm currently recovering from jet lag from my 2 week trip to Istanbul and London. The last time I traveled overseas, I lived on the east coast, so switching to a 10 hour difference hit me a little harder this time around :-P
This past weekend in London was a dream. I've been waiting to go for years, and finally made it happen. I can say that it might've been one of my favorite trips I've ever taken. I had no agenda other than to just get out of my routine and be inspired all over again. Almost every sight left me in awe. There were so many highlights but I'll let the photos speak for them self:
I can't wait to be back since I didn't even get close to exploring all there was to see, but this was a great start. Also thanks to Airbnb for the beautiful stay in Notting Hill :). Hope you enjoyed!
Another Spring has come so fast. It's hard to believe this is already my third year in Los Angeles, and to be honest, I hit a moment where I wasn't sure if I wanted to be here anymore. Clearly, I didn't go anywhere, but it took a lot more evaluating on what I want and how to guard the many areas of my life to make sure it's healthy, rested, and growing at a pace that's not dictated by the pace of this city.
So I've been taking it easy since the new year, visiting family a lot more, and not over-filling my schedule. A few days ago I got to spend some time at a friends house that felt like a mini getaway that was so peaceful. Took some of my comfiest pieces as of late, via Urban Outfitters, and had a lazy afternoon.
